Description In two well-crafted pages (2 pages maximum) identify a company that you believe suffered, or is currently suffering from Marketing Myopia. In a concrete discussion, including examples drawn from outside sources discuss why that organization is in that position and why or what they might have done to avoid this. For a top grade do not choose a company we’ve discussed in class (e.g. Kodak, Blackberry, Blockbuster). Rather choose a company where your discussion will prove your hypothesis. Your arguments, supportive or disagreeing, should be reinforced by some additional outside sourcing (and be sure to incorporate quotes or specific references to those sources). For the company, you’ve chosen be sure your positions and arguments are clear, logical, and focused. If you see a way to incorporate multiple arguments that is fine but each must be consistent in its position. With just 2 pages your points need to be stated efficiently and without excess verbiage (credit deducted for papers beyond the allowed length by more than a sentence or two). Bibliography /References are not counted as part of the 2 pages.
