Description Pleas erespond to the following statement: Hello Fellow Classmates, My name is Andre Bacon. Originally from Texas, living in California now. At the moment I took a break from employment, just a month break. I promise 8 years of non stop work will do it to you. Miss some of my best years but here I am, I am a safety professional. Just completed a job at the San Diego-Tijuanna border 7/20/22. I was the Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) for the site. Future goals is to claim my B/S for Occupational Safety and Health; become a safety director and branch off and began my own safety consultant company. I look forward to learning with each one of you and to take something from you professor, thank you kindly. For Part II Last year I was involved in a work injury that nearly took my life. Last semester was my first semest returning from the accident. It was a work related injury so I feel it would be perfect to share with you all. I was on the Otay Mountain when I and another empoyee had a head on collision on a mountain incline. In short, the other employee failed to yield to incoming traffic coming down mountain in a smaller vehicle. With dust being the root cause and lack of communication, it was a bad day for me. Being the safety for the project, I made it mandatory for every individual on the site to have 2-way radio until quitting time. In doing so, I limit any other accident remotely similiar from occuring. So in sharing, sometimes its not speed or texting that cause crashes, it could be the lack of visilibilty and complacency that can cause these accidents, please be careful when operating any motorized vehicle.
