What is marketing?
Marketing is the process of convincing customers so that they can choose a company’s products over the many that exist in the market. The primary aim of marketing is to deal with the pressure of competition. Some industries have many companies that compete for the same customers. For a company to succeed in such an industry, it should invest more in its marketing activities (Peter & Donnelly, 2019).
Marketing is all about researching, doing promotion, selling, and doing a physical distribution of products to customers wherever they are. The world has changed due to technological advancement, and the only companies that survive are the ones that do extensive marketing (Kotler, Armstrong, Harker, & Brennan, 2010).
